Summer School Terms & Conditions

Bunbury Summer School 2017 (BSS) is co-ordinated by Stirling Street Arts Centre (SSAC).

Enrolments can be made online, by phone or in person at Stirling Street Arts Centre office.

BSS encourages all ages and abilities to be included in a wide programme of learning and participation. However please take note of age/ability guidelines for certain workshops and courses.

Parents or guardians are welcome to observe their child’s participation in a workshop, but must not personally involve themselves, or allow other children who have not enrolled in the workshop, to participate in the actual class activity.

Parents or guardians must be responsible for their child’s behaviour. The class tutor will bear no such responsibility, but will have the right to request that children causing a disruption be asked to leave so that the enjoyment of others is not compromised.

Participants must adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards. We recommend participants wear closed in shoes, comfortable clothing and that long hair is tied back.

Full payment is required upon booking. We accept cash, credit cards and eftpos.

As classes are priced as reasonably as possible, BSS reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the required minimum number of attendees is not received. Notice of cancellation will be given by email or phone to all those enrolled, at least 24 hours prior to the advertised workshop start time.

Full refund will be made if a class does not proceed.

Where classes have a maximum number of attendees, places will be filled on a first in/first served basis. Waiting lists will be kept, and if practicable a further class may be offered.

If an enrolled person wishes to cancel their booking, written notice (email or mail), must be received. Verbal advice is not accepted.

Cancellations within 7 days of the course date will receive no refund. Cancellation with at least 7days notice will receive a full refund, less a 10% administration fee.

Class absence will not be eligible for refund after a workshop has commenced.

Refunds once accepted can only be given by EFT. No cash or credit card refunds will be made.

SSAC reserves the right to change a workshop time, date, place or tutor in the unlikely event that a workshop cannot proceed as advertised.

BSS is a smoke free event. Our funding partner Healthway supports our event as it is conducted in a healthy and safe environment.
